 Hello everyone

Time for another Newsletter with details of what we have coming along in the next few months or so.

This Thursday February 23 THE POWER of THREE from Leeds return to the club for a full guest evening after a couple of highly lauded appearances at our open mic nights.

We’re looking forward to an exciting guest spot debut from this powerful trio.

Thurs March 2 it’s another Open Mic, this time with a feature spot from our ‘house band’ RAMSHACKLE and we also have a few highly anticipated guests who’ll be travelling along to the club for this one.

It’s a very special evening at The Crescent Club YORK YO24 1AW on Sunday March 5 with one of Ireland’s foremost songwriters ELEANOR McEVOY. A long awaited York debut for this singer-songwriter who rose to fame on the ‘A Woman’s Heart’ compilation album, which also featured Mary Black, Dolores Keane and Sharon Shannon.

Having released her sixteenth album Gimme Some Wine to rave reviews at the end of 2021, Eleanor is now back on the road following the release of her latest riveting single South Anne Street.

‘Her live show is spellbinding. She walks in a single pool of light, the stage set with an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar, violin, piano and a small amp. What follows has been enthralling audiences around the world for decades.’

We also have two Irish singers as supports for this show Paula Ryan and Susie Coyle.

Doors open at 7pm and music will start around 7-30pm.
